We are speechless with what the LORD has done for us! Britton Griffith Hunter is officially, finally & completely ours!!! We praise Jesus for giving him to us as our firstborn! We are awed at what an amazing symbol of Christ adopting us this has been! O how He loves us!!! Thank you LORD for hand wrapping Britton to us at just the right moment at just the right place!
April 20, 2012 at 7:15 am we got in the car to drive an hour to the New Castle County Courthouse in Wilmington, DE to finalize the adoption of Britton!

Inside the courtroom! It took all of about 10 minutes:) 2 of our caseworkers were called to testify to us being worthy parents! Britton is sitting on Daddy's lap reading books:)
Judge Hitch...she liked his new name and asked how Stela was adjusting to a brother:)
Someone was exhausted and quickly fell asleep on Daddy's shoulder afterwords!
Moira, Pam, & Carrie all 3 caseworkers who without them each doing their part this would not have been possible! All 3 are extremely gifted, passionate about kids & are all my friends! THANK YOU!!!
This Adoption Week my parents came to celebrate! We went to the famous Longwood Gardens-magnificent! Had to wear our "Hunter" sweater from my dear friend Leah! Thank you!

Party Time! April 22, 2-4 we had an open house celebration! Thank you Mom for all your help in baking! I couldn't have done it without you! We had Britt's favorites: "coookies," cupcakes, "pupaple" pineapple, & other sweet fruits!

I love everything about this. Oh man, He is faithful...so incredibly faithful. You and Josh are amazing parents...he is one blessed boy. I love that you had a party too...such cute decor and treats...you were created to be a momma Julie...to raise up babies to love Jesus and make Him known. Miss you guys so much!! Skype date soon?
