Green Anyone?

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:6-7
I think I have used this verse before but O it is a good one and one I keep reminding myself of!!  ANYTHING, whew that is a hard one!  I read wise words today about a Godly woman who lived to be 109 and often quoted this verse, her mother & sisters were worriers and "all died relatively young of strokes."  WOW, that hit home for me!  Trusting the Lord and thanking Him for His grace!
Here are pics of some fun things we did this week!  Now, we are not Irish:) but any excuse to drink green milk and tell the kids about a man who shared Jesus is reason enough to celebrate St. Patrick's Day:)!
Much Love!

Shamrock letter matching!  They did great!

Finding hidden "C's" in rice..she loved this!

My cloth diaper babies:)

Green painting!  They really enjoy painting themselves more than anything...so why not put them in a tub:)

Let the mess begin...

Why not just pour the whole paint cup on your head?

The boys definitelys got crazier with the paint, Briley just enjoyed painting her nails:) and finally put a little in her hair!

Ollie's big debut at the sensory table!  He now wants to play with the noodes more than eat them-wahooo!

Making some "coffee" for Mommy:)

Britt's hat might be my favorite here:)

Never to early to start a rap band:)

Alittle green noodle shamrock craft!

Somebody liked eating the vinegar dipped dry noodles...Britt wouldn't even smell them!

It was time for Josh's once a year Bball tourny fundraiser this week at a local church.  He was the #1 player on his team, of course, and led his team to many wins:)  Here Briley was the 1st to congratulate him after a win!

The older 2 were VERY in to watching Daddy and trying to figure all the whistles and buzzers-very cute!  Every noise they would say "timeout" and you could hear both yelling "go Daddy go" through out the whole game!

It has become one of the highest honors to ride solo with Daddy in his "fast car!" Coincidently they call my car "mommy's bus" haha!

Enjoying downtown Dover's St. Pat's Parade!

You mean you are going to let me eat this entire lollipop? "YEA!!!!!!!"  Can I also have the backup in my other hand?

What a beautiful morning for green milk and yogurt!

"and you're not having hot mush for breakfast...Lucky Charms sugary cereal!!!"
Now, we don't do the lucky, the leprechauns, the pot of gold, but it was fun to find the green shamrocks in our cereal!!

Ollie attempting to say "cheese" for me:)

Two cute:)!!!!

Ollie not sure he wants to hold their hands:)

O perfect, bite that shirt!

Better...

Better...

Cutest 3 shamrock clad kids I know:)!! (My version of sewing right now...fabric adhesion glue:) haha!

Tried alittle green silly string!

Ollie reading the toxic ingredients & Britt figuring out what to do with his shoe

I don't think I will ever get over our "river view" Thank you God!

Daddy joined in on the green fun and made green popcorn...laden with sugar-haha!

Irish bread, stew and green soup-yum yum!!

Just like Daddy!

"Can you see?"  "No, can you?"

Boys:)!!!

My heart swelling as Britt and Briley use my ole teacher's pointer to review some letters:)!

So precious!  Thank you Lord for these times:)!!

  2. Julie-I so look forward to your postings! It makes my heart happy to know there is still a mommy out there that actually loves spending time with their little ones doing fun things instead of placing them in front of a television for hours on end. You are truly a perfect mom and your zest for life shows with every post. Josh and the kiddos are very lucky to have you in their lives. You remain in my thoughts and prayers daily. Cindy Stokes
